MP series 2-step pushbutton switches 2011-10-17
APEM MP Series 2-step pushbutton switches take remote control to a new level of safety. These pushbuttons are SIL2 according to the IEC 61508 standard, with redundant optical contacts for fail-safe security in the harshest environments.
MP switches are intended for applications in demanding environments including nuclear, industrial, medical, testing and mining equipment, agriculture and forestry.

FP series illuminated pushbutton switches 2011-07-05
For a really visible pushbutton, APEM introduces FP, a series of dia. 24 mm illuminated pushbutton switches.
Two illumination options are available:
- Fully-illuminated plunger: the entire surface is backlit, with or without pad printed symbols
- Illuminated symbol: with laser etching, in a variety of colours and finishes
These products are ideal for applications including tractors, buses, trucks, cranes and automotive.

CP series capacitive switches 2011-05-27
APEM is pleased to introduce the CP Series, the first switches in our new capacitive range. User-friendly technology senses the touch of a finger and creates an electrical charge to activate the switch. An auto-calibration function ensures the sensor adapts to changing external environments.
Great design, durability and a low required activation force make CP ideal for applications in multiple markets. As sensitive as a touch screen, these switches are particularly useful in:
- industrial applications where repetitive activation can cause operator discomfort
- reduced mobility devices.
They are available in momentary or latching, with or without illumination.
